Austin is one month old today. I cannot believe a month has already gone by. At birth Austin was 7lbs 2ozs and 20 inches long. He was in the 25th percentile for weight and length. By the time he came home, he was down to 6lbs 11ozs.
Today, Austin weighed in at 10lbs 10ozs and 22 inches - 75th percentile for weight and length. In comparison, Ben was 7lbs 3ozs at birth and at his one month appointment he was 8lbs 12ozs, what a difference!
Our pediatrician took a nice long listen to Austin's heart and in the words of Dr. Joe "Austin is awesome" - he didn't hear any murmur. He is fairly certain now that the hole in Austin's heart has closed! Both Brannon and I feel incredibly blessed and want to thank all of you for your prayers.
It was a great appointment. We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
