Belated Sunday

This past weekend we spent our time tucked away in the woods camping.

Friday was my father-in-law's birthday - he would have been 50.  

We were all off and feeling funky the whole week. On Friday before Brannon got home I packed up the van, called down to a local state park and arranged for us to camp out the weekend on a lake.  

We have some serious campers on our hands.  

The boys adore camping.  They made friends.  They explored. 

We spent a lot of time in nature, a lot of time by the fire and a lot of time enjoying our family.

Feeling fortunate for a multitude of reasons today.
