Along with the usual Christmas hustle and bustle....our family celebrates two very important days in December.
My Birthday.
And Ben's Birthday.
We are birthday buddies.
Colored Christmas Lights = Birthday Lights in this house.
Last December when we took the kids out to look at the Christmas lights Ben audibly gasped from the backseat, I turned to see my little boy with his hand over his mouth - eyes wide as saucers. I asked him what was up, he responded 'Mommy! Look everyone decorated for your and my birthdays!'
Yep. Sounds about right.
