Did you know that nearly one in one hundred babies are born with a congenital heart defect?
Our Austin is in that 1% and lucky to only have a mild case of VSD.
As I've mentioned before, even though mild in nature that defect altered my perspective. Made me hold my baby closer. Kiss him more often. And snuggle him longer.
Today our family joined with friends to participate in 'Heart Walk'.
Look who is walking....just in time!

We were honored to be part of Team Ethan this year.
The entire family had a blast and we will be back for more next year.
